EURAMET project 22NRM01 TraMeXI "Traceability In Medical X-Ray Imaging Dosimetry

Publication Date: Nov 2nd, 2023 09:44, Category: EFOMP Announcements

Dear colleague,

We need your help and expertise on medical X-ray imaging dosimetry!

Please provide replies to these two surveys:

Survey on dosimeters and measurement protocols (~30 min)
https://link.webropolsurveys.com/S/85EB242DACBD9814

Survey on radiation qualities used in clinical practice (~20 min)
https://link.webropolsurveys.com/S/DC730EA9CB166E47

We would be grateful if you could submit your replies to the surveys by the end of November 2023.

These two surveys are intended for medical physicist or other technical personnel responsible for dosimetry measurements of X-ray imaging devices used in hospitals. The surveys aim to collect data on the use of different dosimeters (ionization chambers and X-ray multimeters) and clinically relevant radiation qualities (anode, filtration, tube voltages). The intention is to collect one reply/hospital so you might want to collaborate with your colleagues. We hope to get the best possible coverage, so please feel free to share the survey with your colleagues in other hospitals.

The surveys are part of the project Traceability in Medical X-ray Imaging dosimetry 22NRM01 TraMeXI (www.tramexi.com). The TraMeXI project aims to update calibration and measurement procedures so that they provide the best support for the end-users of dosimeter. Your replies provide us with important information about the needs and gaps in X-ray imaging dosimetry. The project has received funding from the European Partnership on Metrology, co-financed from the European Union’s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme and by the Participating States.

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,

TraMeXI team
