I am pleased to inform you that a call is open for two EFOMP ESMP Bursaries for Beginning Physicists - 2014, sponsored by EFOMP.
The purpose of this bursary is to make it possible for medical physicists who are members of an NMO of EFOMP to participate in the European School of Medical Physics (ESMP). The applicants must have recently achieved, or be about to achieve, the level of a qualified medical physicist, and must have been involved in medical physics activities in either a hospital, university or research institute engaged in similar work for a period of at least two years prior to the start of the school. Up to two awards may be made per year. For details of the school programme please follow the link ‘European School of Medical Physics’ on the EFOMP website.
Applicants must submit a CV, together with their application.
Please communicate with Prof. Gunter Hartman (email@example.com), EFOMP Chair of the Education and Training Committee regarding the award and the application for the ESMP.
The value of the award is the cost of a one-week registration fee. It is my duty to remind that travel and subsistence costs are the responsibility of the applicant and cannot be funded by EFOMP.
May I remind also the obligation for the winners to write a report about their experience at the ESMP for the EFOMP website. The report should be received within 30 days following your stay at the school. Examples of previous reports can be found on the EFOMP website.
